↠ Today, I’m switching up our little play area to be functional for both our toddler and our soon-to-arrive new baby. It was so sweet bringing out old baby things and toys and then also letting our toddler pick out a few things from @walmart’s @itzyritzy collection for his baby brother! #ItzyRitzyPartner

Fun fact, his favorite toy as a baby was a dinosaur from @itzyritzy that we named “baby dinosaur” hahaha, so this felt like a necessary full circle moment! Including him in this process of sharing his space and toys was so sweet, and I think it will make for some fun sibling playtimes ahead. Will link these toys in my story and baby highlight!

↠ Our bedroom oasis. We’ve been working on this space for what seems like forever, about nine months in the making (much like a certain someone as well 🤰🏽)! It’s not perfect, nor will it ever be, but it’s so cozy and comfy, we love being in here! I had a vision for this room before we even bought this little cottage home, and it’s been so rewarding to see it slowly and steadily coming together. If you need a sign to go bold with a space and ditch the all white walls—— this is your sign!

@sandbergwallpaper made this room come to life. Every inch of our walls are adorned with this dusty green wallpaper and I’ve never loved a bedroom more than this one! Their designs are so lovely and versatile, which works out perfectly as a little corner nook of this room will serve as a nursery for our soon to arrive son, before we eventually have the boys room share. But for now, this will be the coziest spot in the house for these upcoming postpartum days. #sandbergwallpaper

↠ Nesting season has officially arrived! I found the darkest blackout curtains ever from @mrs.awesomeofficial for the nursery corner of our bedroom, brought in our rocker, set up the dresser and changing station…it’s all getting so real! Having a dark room is an absolute must for me for baby sleep, so I’m feeling very accomplished! Enjoy this little sneak peek of our bedroom, I can’t wait to share the full reveal soon!

↠ Proof that refreshing your space is way more fun with a friend! Styling this new Callen Console from @SamsClub in my gal pal’s home was so fun #SamsPartner. She has a more minimalist and modern approach to her interior decor and loves a good fluted design element, so I knew this console was made for her space! We tried it out three ways—— in her living room, her dining space, and her child’s play area! The console was such a focal piece in the living room, had tons of surface space to use it as a buffet table and coffee bar in her dining room, and provided so much hidden toy storage in the play area, not to mention the super kid friendly soft close doors!

↠ One of my goals before this new little babe arrives is to really upgrade Greyson’s play area to reflect his age! We just said bye bye to the baby gates and padded mat which will give him a lot more room to play, but what else should I add? Thinking a little reading chair could be cute! He’s 16 months, so mamas with older toddlers or babes in a similar season, drop your suggestions below! We’re looking to stay engaged in activity over here haha!

↠ Our cozy little dining nook featuring all the thrifted and antique pieces that make this house feel like a home! It’s a tight squeeze in here but we love it so much! It’s just opposite the kitchen (I was sitting on the counter taking this first photo) and we love the closeness and ease of it all!

The space totally transformed with just some trimwork, new paint, and of course our beautiful new @urbanfloor flooring!

↠ #ad Found the perfect Father’s Day gift from @krogerco—— a gift card to Lowes and then a gift card to lunch for after dad spends the whole afternoon shopping for tools hahaha! But seriously, this really was such a sweet gift for our guy, who is always working tirelessly to make our home a special place! ↠ Story time about our little living room and how we ordered a sectional that was way too big! I actually love how it all turned out. Props to @homereserve for being so versatile and customizable—— we would not have been able to do this with any ole couch! Do you think we made the right call, or would you have stuck with the bigger sectional?

Also, a first look at the built-in media wall my husband made for us. It’s soo cozy, and I can’t wait to share more about it!

↠ Finally sharing with y’all the first part of our living room renovation! We started by removing the ceiling fan, painting the walls, new flooring for the whole house, a new rug (I went darker for the first time and am so happy with it), and then finally, a new couch for the first time since before we got married! Feels like SUCH a treat to have a fresh space, and it truly couldn’t have come together with @homereserve! Their couches are customizable to fit your space and needs and the designing process is so fun!

We chose the Ava Deep Seat Sectional with Maltese Flax fabric and are so thrilled with both options! The fabric is so soft and cleans up extremely well which has been helpful already, ha.

A few more worthy mentions—— since the fabric is all removable, it can be washed or even switched out for another fabric which is so cool! Contemplating ordering a darker, moody color for the fall and winter!

The shipping is soo fast!

There is storage under every seat, and it’s genuinely so nice! We use every bit of it since we have a pretty small home with little to no storage.

↠ Found my husband his dream chair for his home office from @the_citizenry! He has been so patient in working from this pretty uninspiring room since we moved in, as it’s low on the priority list to renovate, but I’m so glad it now has something beautiful and cozy to adorn the once empty corner with! It’s the little things, right? Slowly but surely I know this space will come to be all that we envision it to be, but for now, we’re so thankful for this heirloom quality piece of furniture so generously gifted to us.

This Vale armchair is handcrafted in the USA—— love supporting artisans in our country! From the wood to the fabric cutting, it’s actually made by hand! There are sixteen different fabric options, and this one is the cotton velvet, mushroom color (it’s a deep brown with green undertones and sooo soft) which is so cozy. I think it’ll really shine in the fall and winter months when curling up on a chair is just the epitome of coziness!
